‘The lives we have, however horrible we might think they are, are absolute utopia compared to the tragic lives that other people have. Do not feel sorry for yourselves. You practically have it made’. O God, protect us from being desensitized.

Happiness
veiledninja:
“Seek happiness in one of three things: in the recitation of the Qur’an, in the remembrance of Allah and, and in Salah. If you do not find happiness in one of these matters, then know that the door to happiness has been shut for you.” -Hasan Al-Basri
No wonder we are all unhappy. How many of us have looked in all the wrong places and done all the wrong things in search of it?

ISFJ: “Conservator”. These people are service and work oriented - very loyal. They are good nurses, teachers, secretaries, general practitioners, librarians, middle managers, and housekeepers. 6% of the total population.
hmm, interesting. Let the soul searching continue! :)

Lesson of the day (or my life): Never judge someone too quickly!
Soundless Calling
Wrote this poem a while back. It’s about the Quran [the Islamic Holy Book]. Enjoy :)
———-
I am a silent speaker
A biological book
You’re ears, they cannot hear me
Your eyes embrace me
My words needles
That pierce your sight
Your tears no longer bashful
My voice, soundless
Drenching your ears
With words so soothing
My touch means nothing
A stroke on a paper
Provoking your...
